Bulk K1 Media bio-media supplied in plain clear ziplock bags, not branded packaging.

K1 Media develops a delicate ecosystem for beneficial bacteria essential for nitrification, removing harmful ammonia and nitrite from aquarium water. Its moving design provides maximum active surface area for bacteria colonisation.

• Dynamic movement displaces old bacteria, allowing rapid growth of new colonies.
• Protected surfaces within the media support the natural bacterial lifecycle for optimal nitrification.
• Unlike static foam or matting, K1 Media moves freely in the filter and self-cleans, requiring minimal maintenance.

Designed to offer the best habitat for both young and mature beneficial bacteria.
